Southampton’s Picturehouse Cinema, Harbour Lights, only operate a smallish menu (see below) so they don’t have separate or specific menus for different dietary needs. However, they are more than happy to adapt any of their meals to make them vegan friendly!
Their pizza bases are vegan, as well as their bread, so they can make special toasted sandwiches or pizzas without any animal derived ingredients. Their hummus is vegan, and they also offer jacket potatoes and salads, which again, can be adapted to make them vegan. A file is kept which states all ingredients and whether they are veggie/vegan friendly – so it’s really easy for a member of staff to check.
Menu aside, they do offer several snacks which are vegan:
- Nakd Posh Bits
Hippeas organic chickpea crisps
Ape Coconut Bites
They stock BrewDog Punk IPA cans and bottles of BrewDog Nanny State, which are also vegan, and have several vegan wines.
Lastly, they have a vegan chocolate and raspberry cake which is sometimes available – this one might be slightly harder to get, as they stock the cakes on a rotational basis. However, if someone knows when they are coming in, they can get in touch and Harbour Lights will do their best to try and make it available for them if they have it in stock. If not, all the snacks listed above are usually available.
